Pop on your swimwear before you arrive—there’s no changing area on-site, and we keep things strictly swimsuit-only (no nudity here!). A cozy robe or warm coat and your trusty jandals will keep you comfy before and after your session. With Southland’s ever-changing weather, it’s always good to be ready for anything!

In your 75-minute sauna session, you can move at your own pace.

Spend up to 20 minutes at a time in the sauna, then cool off with a refreshing ocean dip, a brisk cold plunge in one of our tubs, or an invigorating shower - it’s totally up to you.

While there’s no toilet on-site, you’ll find one just to the right of the Oreti Beach entrance. You can drive right onto the beach to reach the sauna, but if sand driving isn’t your thing, it’s only a quick 5-minute walk from the carpark. Got a crew coming? We recommend carpooling to make things easy!

Bring along TWO towels—one to sit on (we like to keep our cedar wood sweat-free) and one to dry off after. Make sure you’re well-hydrated before you arrive, and don’t forget a filled water bottle! We’ve got a hydration station ready for easy refills during your session.

The sauna temps range from 80 to 90°C, depending on where you’re sitting. Find your sweet spot and settle in!

We recommend 15 to 20-minute sauna sessions, with a maximum of 20 minutes per round. Listen to your body—if it’s telling you to take a break, go for it! Arrive at least 10 minutes early to get yourself sauna-ready and make the most of your session.

We get that life happens! If you need to cancel, you can do so up to 12 hours before your session for a credit. Cancellations within 48 hours aren’t refundable, but if something unexpected comes up, reach out to us—we’re always here to help where we can.

We keep our group sizes small to make sure everyone enjoys the best experience—because let’s be honest, no one wants to feel like a sardine in a hot room! Our sauna comfortably seats 12 people, giving you plenty of space to relax. Got a larger group? No problem! Just shoot us an email, and we’ll happily arrange a session that fits your crew.

You’re welcome to take photos outside, but please pop your device away while in the sauna. It’s a tech-free zone to help everyone unwind and make the most of the chance to switch off. Also please be mindful of others.

Spotless! We give it a deep clean from top to bottom at the end of each day, with a fresh tidy-up between every session. Plus, we air it out to keep things feeling crisp and inviting.

Our combination of natural cleaning products, high heat, and antimicrobial cedar, creates an incredibly hygienic environment.
